It just wouldn't be the NBA Finals without LeBron James taking the court.

With a win in Game 6 over the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference finals on Friday night, James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will once again compete for the Larry O'Brien trophy for the second year in a row.

This will also mark James' sixth trip to the Finals in six years, becoming just the eighth player in NBA history and the first non-Boston Celtics player to do so and play.

When asked of what he's most proud as it pertains to continuously advancing to the very end of the postseason, James became visibly emotional as the magnitude of the moment began sinking in.

"I don't know, Doris (Burke). I've heard all the questions and that right there is a stumper," James said. "I'm just very humble and gracious that the man above has given me an opportunity to play the game that I love. I get to go out here and do it every single night in front of my fans. It is very emotional, you know, just to be a part of something like this. This is my sixth straight, and it means everything."

James has a 2-4 record with both the Cavaliers and Miami Heat in the Finals, having fallen to the San Antonio Spurs (2007, 2014) on two occasions, the Dallas Mavericks (2011), and Golden State Warriors last season.
