Thunder's Steven Adams: Reels in season-high 17 boards

Adams racked up 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 FT), 17 rebounds, one steal, and one block across 37 minutes in Monday's 98-97 Game 2 win over the Spurs.

Analysis:

The 17 boards were a season high for Adams, who took advantage of a massive workload to make his presence felt on the defensive end. In addition to controlling the glass, Adams held opposing center Tim Duncan to a 1-for-8 shooting night, though Duncan's frontcourt mate, LaMarcus Aldridge, did explode for 41 points. Nonetheless, it was a good night for Adams, who now has recorded double-digit boards in three straight playoff games.
