Analysis:

Mahinmi's status is still very much clouded as Game 3 approaches after he sustained a lower-back sprain during Monday's Game 2. The ailment limited the big man to 22 minutes, as he departed the game in the second half and didn't return. The back issues aren't really a new problem for Mahinmi, who first aggravated his back in November and said that he would require offseason treatment to address the problem, according to Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports. The Pacers ended up holding Mahinmi out of Wednesday's practice, and if he's ultimately ruled out Thursday, Myles Turner would likely assume his spot in the starting lineup.
