Shumpert (knee) will be available to play in Sunday's playoff opener against the Pistons, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert has dealt with soreness and inflammation in his left knee as the regular season wore down. He had the knee drained a little less than a week ago and is now feeling much better. He's expected to be available against the Pistons on Sunday, so look for him to take on his normal role and see minutes in the mid-20's. J.R. Smith will likely see a slight decrease in his usage with Shumpert back in the lineup.
