Analysis:

The Clippers have already announced that regular starting shooting guard J.J. Redick would sit out Friday for rest purposes, which should pave the way for Crawford to enter the lineup. In addition to Redick, the Clippers have also ruled out Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul, and Wesley Johnson, while Jeff Green (knee) and Austin Rivers (ankle) are questionable to play. As a result of that long list of unavailable players, Crawford figures to be thrust into a high-usage role on offense, and could be the beneficiary of upwards of 40 minutes. Crawford certainly showed what he was capable of as a starter in his last opportunity with the top unit back on March 31 against the Thunder, tallying 32 points, seven assists, two steals, and a block over 40 minutes. He'll make for an excellent low-cost DFS target for the Friday slate.
