NBA Game Summary - Cleveland at Memphis

Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Marc Gasol paced a balanced Memphis scoring attack with 16 points as the Grizzlies came through with a 96-92 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in a preseason matchup.

Gasol added nine rebounds and was one of seven Grizzlies to finish with double figures in points. Quincy Pondexter dropped in 15 points and Kosta Koufos contributed 13 against a Cleveland team that rested LeBron James.

Zach Randolph had 11 points for Memphis, which outscored the Cavs by a 20-9 margin over a 6 1/2-minute span in the fourth quarter to turn a two-point deficit into an 89-80 lead with 4:07 to play.

Kyrie Irving went 7-of-11 from the field in a 16-point effort in Cleveland's final preseason tune-up. The Cavaliers tip off their regular season at home against the New York Knicks on Oct. 30.

Dion Waiters ended with 15 points and hit 3-of-4 attempts from 3-point range for Cleveland.
