NBA Game Summary - Golden State at Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Curry made seven 3-pointers en route to 36 points as the Golden State Warriors picked up their 50th win of the season with a 98-80 rout of the Phoenix Suns on Monday.

Curry also had six rebounds, five assists and four steals for the Warriors (50-12), who have won four in a row. Klay Thompson added 25 points and Draymond Green tallied 11 points and 10 boards.

"We didn't let up and we didn't settle with being up five or six (points)," said Thompson. "You know, Steph took the game over on offense."

Eric Bledsoe ended with 19 points for the Suns, who have lost two straight. T.J. Warren scored 11 points and Alex Len contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Phoenix guard Brandon Knight recorded 13 points before leaving in the second quarter with a sprained left ankle. He was unable to put any weight on the leg and was helped off the court by the Suns' training staff.

The Warriors jumped out to a 10-2 lead and held a 25-19 edge after 12 minutes of action. Thompson and Curry tallied 11 and nine points, respectively, in the first stanza.

Golden State led by as many as 11 in the second, but the Suns scored the final nine points of the quarter to make it 46-46.

"We made that run there at the end of the second quarter because guys were cutting and moving," Phoenix head coach Jeff Hornacek said. "Then, I don't know if they got tired or something, but we stood around and again did the one-on-one stuff."

Ahead 53-52, the Warriors created some distance with a 23-5 run. Curry scored 10 points during the burst that Thompson capped with a 3-pointer for a 76-57 edge with 1:41 left in the third.

Golden State held a 76-61 margin heading to the fourth.
