NBA Game Summary - Memphis at Chicago

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Marc Gasol outscored his brother, getting 23 points on Monday night as the Memphis Grizzlies pulled away down the stretch to beat the Chicago Bulls 101-91.

Tony Snell scored 21 points to lead the Bulls, including 11 during a 23-6 run that pulled them out of a 13-point hole in the fourth quarter and gave them an 88-84 lead with around six minutes remaining.

But Memphis responded by scoring the next 11 points to pull away for the win.

Jeff Green added 19 points and Zach Randolph scored 16 for the Grizzlies, who have won three of their last four.

"Defense was the key for the whole game," Marc Gasol said. "We were able to contain them and play an aggressive game."

The Southwest Division leaders opened a four-game road trip with a 95-89 loss in New Orleans on Saturday.

Pau Gasol had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls, who have dropped a season high-tying three consecutive games. Aaron Brooks added 15 points and Nikola Mirotic had 18 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.

"We are in a critical point of the season," said Pau Gasol.

Marc Gasol capped a 7-0 run by the Grizzlies to open the game but his brother outscored him 7-4 in the first quarter and the teams were tied 22-22 going into the second.

It remained tight up until the Grizzlies carried a 41-39 lead into halftime after leading by as much as six down the stretch. They went ahead by as many as 11 in the third quarter, with Marc Gasol picking up 15 points in the frame.
