NBA Game Summary - Dallas at Golden State

Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Curry scored 22 points and dished out seven assists, and the Golden State Warriors continued their home dominance with a 104-89 rout of the Dallas Mavericks Friday night.

Draymond Green chipped in 18 points and nine rebounds, and Klay Thompson scored 16 for the Warriors, who improved to an NBA-best 26-2 at home. It also marked their sixth straight win against the Mavericks, the first time the Warriors have accomplished the feat since capturing six in a row from Dec. 26, 1996 to Dec. 16, 1997.

Rajon Rondo and Dirk Nowitzki each had 14 points for the Mavericks, who have lost four of their last five. They were beaten by 19 at Portland Thursday.

"The last two nights we're playing against the top two defensive teams," Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. "It was just a tough night."

Curry scored 13 in the opening quarter, when the Warriors turned an early six- point deficit into a lead. Rondo's jumper had the Mavs up 14-8, but then came 12 straight points for the hosts. Thompson and Harrison Barnes started the burst with 3-pointers, and Curry finished it with another long-distance shot.

"He's the MVP in my book," Warriors center Andrew Bogut said of Curry.

The Warriors, winners in four of their last five overall, were up 29-24 after one quarter, and their defense kicked into high gear in the second when the Mavs shot 5-of-19 from the field. A 10-2 flurry extended the margin to 41-31 following Green's pull-up 3 midway through the period. The gap widened to 52-40 at the half.

Thompson and Green poured in nine points in the third, a quarter in which the Warriors were ahead the entire way by double digits. The difference was 82-64 going to the fourth, and the contest turned into a blowout in the final quarter.
