Marc Gasol posted 14 points and 11 boards, while Courtney Lee added 15 points for the Grizzlies, who have won 10 of their last 11 games.

"The game was a little sloppy. It got a little closer at the end than I wanted to," said Grizzlies coach David Joerger. "Defensively, we got a lot of hands on the basketball. We started the game with an energy and a passion."

Mason Plumlee provided 15 points and 14 rebounds, Alan Anderson netted 15 and Jarrett Jack and Brook Lopez each put in 12 for Brooklyn, which has dropped three consecutive contests.

"We got fought off all game. We just have to do a better job. Wish we could have performed better," the Nets' Joe Johnson said.

Memphis responded with an 18-4 run and never looked back.

Seven different Grizzlies scored during the surge, with Tony Allen's layup capping the surge and giving them a 22-9 cushion.

Memphis led 32-15 following a quarter of play, 52-40 at the break and 75-62 after three. The Nets never got within less than seven in the final frame.
