NBA Game Summary - Orlando at Houston

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - James Harden poured in 21 points in only 18 minutes, and the Houston Rockets held on for a 108-104 win over the Orlando Magic in preseason action from the Toyota Center.

Harden hit on 7-of-12 field goal attempts, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, before he and the majority of the Rockets' starters were rested in the fourth quarter.

Donatas Motiejunas added 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench for Houston, with Patrick Beverley compiling 13 points and nine boards in the victory. Prized offseason acquisition Dwight Howard finished with eight points and three blocks in 18 minutes in the matchup with his original team.

E'Twaun Moore paced Orlando with 17 points and Andrew Nicholson scored 15 points along with a team-best nine rebounds. Rookie Victor Oladipo, the No. 2 overall pick in this year's draft, had nine points but shot just 3-of-12 from the floor.

The Magic trailed 105-96 with two minutes left, but pulled within two with a 7-0 run capped by Nicholson's 3-pointer with 48 seconds remaining. Orlando failed to make a field goal the rest of the way, though, and the Rockets sealed the win by sinking 3-of-4 foul shots in the final moments.
