NBA Game Summary - Denver at Indiana

Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - David West scored 25 points to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 119-80 drubbing over the Denver Nuggets.

Roy Hibbert deposited a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double and also added four blocks for the Pacers, who snapped their five-game losing skid to the Nuggets. Paul George and Lance Stephenson scored 12 points apiece in the win.

Wilson Chandler paced Denver with 17 points on a futile 6-of-19 shooting. J.J. Hickson added 12 points with eight rebounds in the setback.

Denver was without point guard Ty Lawson, who was sidelined with a fractured rib that he sustained in Saturday's 126-109 loss at Detroit. Lawson leads the Nuggets in scoring (18 ppg) and assists (8.8 apg).

The Nuggets are 0-3 on their current four-game road swing and look to salvage a game when they visit Minnesota on Wednesday.

West scored 17 points in the first quarter, including nine during a 15-5 spurt to end the frame. He made a three-point play and followed with back- to-back jumpers before C.J. Watson made a layup to close the scoring in the quarter and help the Pacers to a 31-20 lead after 12 minutes.

Stephenson and Luis Scola each added a basket to open the second quarter and extend the cushion to 37-20. Denver countered with a 10-2 run, with Jordan Hamilton and Randy Foye knocking down successive treys to open the spurt.

Indiana ended the second quarter much like the first, outscoring the Nuggets 16-6 over the final 3:43 of the stanza to take a 61-40 lead at the break. George Hill was fouled shooting a 3-pointer with 3.7 seconds left and made all three attempts from the stripe to cap the run.

George hit a trey late in the third to close a 7-0 sprint for an 83-53 advantage and the Pacers brought an 85-56 lead into the fourth. The Pacers emptied their bench in the fourth and cruised to victory.
