NBA Game Summary - Philadelphia at Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Paul Pierce made all 14 of his free throws and scored 25 points and the Brooklyn Nets held on to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 108-102 on Monday to snap a three-game losing streak.

It was a game of swings and the Nets held off one final charge.

The Sixers trailed by 15 in the first quarter, had a seven-point lead in the second and were down a game-high 19 in the third quarter. But they got within 104-102 after James Anderson made a 3-pointer from the right corner with 22.7 second left.

But Pierce made two foul shots and Shaun Livingston stole the ball when Sixers point guard Michael Carter-Williams flubbed a pass to Evan Turner at the other end. Livingston then sealed the win with two free throws.

Deron Williams scored 21 for the Nets, Mirza Teletovic made five 3s and had 20 points and Livingston scored 13 with eight assists.

The Sixers turned the ball over 25 times in their third straight loss and fell to 3-13 in their last 16. Livingston's steal gave the Nets a season-high 15 in the game. He had a career-high seven.

"We have to be more responsible with the ball," said Sixers coach Brett Brown. "It bites us continually."

Carter-Williams had 21 points to lead Philadelphia, Tony Wroten scored 18 and Thaddeus Young added 17.
