NBA Game Summary - LA Lakers at Chicago

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Taj Gibson had less than a second to get a shot off and barely beat the overtime buzzer with a layup off an inbounds pass to give the Chicago Bulls a 102-100 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The back-and-forth battle at United Center featured 23 lead changes and 14 ties, the last coming when Nick Young drained a baseline jumper with 6.0 seconds left in OT to knot things at 100-100.

After D.J. Augustin's pass at the other end was knocked out of bounds by Ryan Kelly, the Bulls called timeout to draw up a play with 0.9 ticks to go.

Mike Dunleavy inbounded the ball from underneath the basket, and Gibson boxed out Manny Harris in the lane to receive the bounce pass cleanly, then quickly went up with his left hand over Pau Gasol for the game-winner.

With their eighth win in 10 games, the Bulls evened their record (20-20) for the first time since they were 7-7 on Nov. 27.
