Jon Jones named to Forbes' 30-under-30 list

Jon Jones added another feather to his cap on Monday.

The 27-year-old UFC Light Heavyweight champion joined such sports luminaries as James Harden and Novak Djokovic on Forbes' "30-under-30: The World's Brightest Young Stars" list. 

When he won UFC's light heavyweight title in March 2011, Jones became the youngest UFC champion of all time. The New York native still holds the belt, which he will defend against Daniel Cormier at UFC 182 in January 2015. A win would mark his ninth title bout victory, which would be good for third-most in UFC history.

Jones solidified his place among the greatest fighters to ever step into the Octagon at UFC 182 on Saturday when he notched a relatively dominant unanimous decision victory over the previously undefeated Daniel Cormier.
