Diaz hints at taking '10 months off' to wait for 3rd McGregor bout

If Conor McGregor is going to have himself a vacation, Nate Diaz will be waiting for him when he comes back.

On Tuesday, UFC president Dana White speculated that Conor McGregor could be out for as long as "10 months" after beating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205. McGregor himself has said he will dedicate his time off to taking care of his first child, expected in May, while White's estimate would put McGregor on the shelf until September.

Diaz responded with a tweet indicating that he's in no rush to fight again anytime soon either:

The Stockton bad boy has not fought since losing a unanimous decision in a rematch with McGregor this past August, a result that evened up their series at 1-1. Diaz defeated McGregor by submission at UFC 196 earlier this year.

Both men have gone back and forth on whether a third meeting will happen, but for now it looks like it's the only thing on Diaz's mind.
