Dillashaw calls Cruz a 'scared little bitch' for not calling $100K bet

The typically mild-mannered TJ Dillashaw is now taking his cues from some of his loudmouthed peers.

In a rare show of crass gamesmanship, Dillashaw upped the ante in his latest call-out to UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz on Instagram Wednesday. The California native had wagered $100,000 in an effort to goad Cruz into agreeing to a rematch, but has taken to cursing his former foe since the ploy appears to have fallen on deaf ears.

The former 135-pound champion has all but begged for another crack at "The Dominator," who narrowly dethroned Dillashaw by split decision at UFC Fight Night 81 in January. The 30-year-old gave the notoriously evasive Cruz his toughest UFC test yet, which - in his estimation - warrants a chance to reclaim the title.

The rumor mill seems to favor Cody Garbrandt, whose disdain for Cruz has reached nearly visceral heights over the past few months. "No Love" has done his part to sell the potential matchup with a number of expletive-laced rants, but despite previously dismissing his brand of promotion, a hell-bent Dillashaw is indulging in the tactic and seeing what sticks.

With UFC president Dana White recently teasing he had big things in store for Cruz, the three-way beef could soon be sorted.
