Diaz: Dana White needs to get off McGregor's nuts

Nate Diaz isn't going to sit idly by while the Conor McGregor and the UFC make moves around him.

Asked for his thoughts on Tuesday's UFC 205 press conference, Diaz told MMA Fighting that he's fed up with not being able to get the fights that he wants despite the blockbuster bouts he had with McGregor this year. McGregor's opponent at UFC 205, lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, was also a target of Diaz's ire.

"Fuck them both," Diaz said. "You know both those little bitches are afraid to fight me. That's why they are fighting each other."

Diaz was also upset with UFC president Dana White perpetuating the myth that he was much larger than McGregor when they competed at welterweight. Prior to his first bout with McGregor at UFC 196, Diaz spent the majority of his career competing at 155 pounds.

"And tell Dana I said get off Conor's nuts," Diaz said. "I left my room to that fight at 176 (pounds), so when I fought I was probably 173. Quit telling people I was a monster to make him look good. I've been a lightweight my whole career."

The beef with Alvarez stems from the two having words prior to Alvarez fighting Diaz's teammate Gilbert Melendez at UFC 188. Diaz believes that Alvarez didn't show him any respect until Diaz's star power surged when he beat McGregor this past March.

"Eddie said I was next after Gilbert, then I called him a bitch in the lobby and he turned the fight down repeatedly until I beat Conor," Diaz said. "Then he called every day asking for the fight. Bitch. What kinda fighters are these guys?"
