Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will headline UFC Fight Night 100 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the promotion confirmed on Saturday.

The light-heavyweight bout was rumored to be in the works and marks the third time Gustafsson and Nogueira have been reported to be fighting one another, with injuries forcing Nogueira out of two previous dates.

Gustafsson is working to get back into title contention after a rough stretch from 2014-2015 where he lost three of four bouts. He returned to the Octagon this year after an 11-month layoff to win in convincing decision over Jan Blachowicz. The statuesque Swede is best known for a pair of close championship-fight losses to Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier.

The 40-year-old "Minotouru" was also victorious in his lone 2016 bout, a first-round TKO win over Patrick Cummins at UFC 198. He has a 5-4 record in nine UFC appearances, including wins over former UFC champions Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz.

No other bouts have been announced for the UFC's first trip to Sao Paulo since last November.
