She came up short in the main event, but Holly Holm was a winner in the television ratings.

According to Paul Fontaine of The Wrestling Observer, Saturday's UFC on FOX 20 fight card in Chicago averaged 2.45 million viewers. Fontaine notes that the final numbers for the show are likely to be in the 2.8.-2.9 million range.

This is the highest rated UFC event to air on FOX since UFC on FOX 14 in January 2015.

The main event saw Valentina Shevchenko defeat Holm in the first women's fight to headline a UFC show that did not feature a world championship.

Regardless of the result, the viewership numbers have to be considered as a windfall for FOX, the UFC, and Holm herself given the lack of hype surrounding the card and the promotional weight placed on Holm's shoulders.
