2016 World Series odds released: Big-money Dodgers top the list

The 2015 Major League Baseball season has not even concluded, yet sportsbooks have already given their odds for next year's World Series.
The Los Angeles Dodgers and their gigantic payroll sit atop the list as 8:1 favorites to win the World Series. The Dodgers are also listed as National League pennant favorites at 7:2.
Sitting one spot below the Dodgers are the New York Mets at 10:1. The Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, and Washington Nationals are also 10:1 to take it all next season, while the Kansas City Royals are 18:1.
