VIDEO: Bautista's misplay leads to Royals' opening run

After a defensive miscue between Jose Bautista and Ryan Goins dominated headlines following a Game 2 loss, it was another ball hit to shallow right field that gave the Toronto Blue Jays trouble early in Game 3 on Monday.

Kansas City Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar slapped a ball that handcuffed a diving Bautista and bounced around for a leadoff triple.

Royals second baseman Ben Zobrist would follow with an RBI groundout to give the visitors an early 1-0 lead.
