Mets' Cespedes ends drought with career-best 27th HR

Yoenis Cespedes has a new personal high to go with his new team.
The New York Mets slugger continued his career year Tuesday night in Queens, launching a long two-run drive to left during the fifth inning against Philadelphia to set a new high in homers with 27.

Acquired from Detroit at the deadline, Cespedes has posted the best numbers of his career since arriving in New York. The Cuban power-hitter entered Tuesday hitting .275/.331/.542 in 28 games with the Mets.
Cespedes' big blast snapped an 0-for-14 slump over his last five games.
