Cole Hamels had his eyes set on only one Texas city.
The three-time All-Star, who was traded to the Texas Rangers as part of a six-player deal Wednesday, told the Phillies he wouldn't accept a move to the Houston Astros, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.

The Astros have been searching for a top-tier arm heading into Friday's deadline and reportedly made a big push to land the left-hander. Houston, however, was listed on Hamels' no-trade list, allowing the left-hander to block a potential deal.
Despite having already added Scott Kazmir to the rotation, the Astros are reportedly interested in acquiring another starter as they push for their first postseason berth since 2005.
