Aroldis Chapman is striking out batters at an unprecedented rate.
The Cincinnati Reds closer fanned five Cleveland Indians on Sunday across two innings to become the fastest pitcher in MLB history to record 500 strikeouts.
It took Chapman 292 innings to set the record, edging the previous mark of 305 innings set by San Diego Padres closer Craig Kimbrel earlier this season.
