The Miami Marlins reportedly fortified their infield depth Friday, agreeing to a minor-league deal with veteran Scott Sizemore, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.

Sizemore, who turns 30 in January, has 166 career major league games under his belt, but logged just six last season, and has compiled only eight big league games since the end of the 2011 season.

The former fifth-round pick spent the majority of the 2014 campaign with the Triple-A affiliate for the New York Yankees, hitting .266/.329/.433 with seven home runs over 81 games in the International League.

Over parts of four seasons in the majors, Sizemore owns a .710 OPS in 166 games between the Yankees, Oakland Athletics, and Detroit Tigers.
