Ahead of Thursday's matinee in Anaheim, the two-time American League MVP got loose by playing catch with a young fan parked in the front row down the left-field line, giving the lad a memory to cherish forever while generating almost unfathomable envy among the dozens of others watching.

Like, just imagine being that kid.

"So how was the game, honey?"

"Oh, you know, it was good. All I did was play catch with MIKE TROUT."
