Youkilis jabs at potential Valentine appointment in Japan

Kevin Youkilis and Bobby Valentine don't really get along.
On Friday, it was reported that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is considering appointing Valentine as the United States' ambassador to Japan.
Well, back in the day, Youkilis and the former Boston Red Sox manager had a strained relationship, so he doesn't foresee a trip to Japan coming up anytime soon.
In 2012, Valentine blamed Youkilis for their poor relationship, saying the former big-leaguer held a grudge over a comment he made when he said, "I don't think (Youkilis is) as physically or emotionally into the game as he has been."
"I think the comment I made early, he made a big issue out of, and I don't think he ever wanted to get over it," Valentine said at the time, per ESPN.
