It's hard to believe the bat flip heard 'round the world happened one year ago today.

In Game 5 of the ALDS in Toronto against the Texas Rangers, Jose Bautista of the Toronto Blue Jays hit one of the most clutch home runs of all time, followed by one of the most epic bat flips in the history of civilization.

The go-ahead three-run homer in the 7th inning launched the Blue Jays into the ALCS, where they eventually lost to the Kansas City Royals.

The Blue Jays open this year's ALCS at Progressive Field tonight against the Cleveland Indians.
