Watch: Martin scales wall to rob Desmond of homer

MLB.com

Leonys Martin is going to great lengths to ensure his team stays in the AL West race.

The Seattle Mariners center fielder wasn't about to let Ian Desmond pad the Texas Rangers' lead, either. Martin channeled his inner Jarrod Dyson Monday night by flying across Globe Life Park in Arlington's outfield, latching onto the wall with one cleat, and pulling back a surefire homer in one complete movement to rob Desmond of his 22nd home run.

It's the second time in his career that Martin has robbed a hitter of a home run. The first came on July 2, 2014, when - ironically - he played with the Rangers and took away a home run from his current teammate Nelson Cruz.
