Watch: Blanco swipes home as part of double-steal

The Philadelphia Phillies may be young and inexperienced, but they sure have some brains about them on the diamond.

When Peter Bourjos took off for second base in the second inning of Wednesday's matinee, he slid in easily after Detroit Tigers catcher James McCann's throw was way off the mark. That allowed for a perfectly executed delayed double-steal, as Andres Blanco flew home uncontested with the Phillies' second run of the game.

Jose Iglesias, who kept McCann's throw in the infield with a leaping grab, wasn't even watching home plate as Blanco sprinted home, though he probably didn't have a shot even if he was paying attention.

Blanco's swipe of home was just the third stolen base of his career.
