<p>PHOENIX (AP)  Kike Hernandez had three hits, including a triple and a double, and Brett Anderson pitched seven strong innings for his third straight victory as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on Wednesday night.</p>
<p>The NL West-leading Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks for the ninth time in the past 10 meetings and recorded their first winning road trip of the season with a 6-4 mark in the 10-game swing to Chicago, Miami and Arizona.</p>
<p>Anderson (5-4) stranded six runners and allowed one run and seven hits, striking out seven and walking two. The Diamondbacks' run came on Aaron Hill's home run in the sixth.</p>

<p>Hernandez ripped a leadoff triple to start the game and scored on Howie Kendrick's sacrifice fly.</p>
<p>Robbie Ray (2-4) took the loss after allowing four runs and seven hits with six strikeouts and two walks in six innings.</p>

The Dodgers blanked the Marlins, 2-0, in Miami yesterday, and have now won four of their last five games overall. Los Angeles has shut out 11 opponents in 2015 -- second most in MLB (San Francisco -- 12).

Arizona defeated San Diego, 6-4, at Petco Park on Sunday, avoiding getting swept over the weekend, and snapping its three-game losing streak in the process. The last team to win a series vs. the D-backs at Chase Field were the Nationals, May 11-13 (3-0-2 home series record since).

Los Angeles has taken seven straight games from Arizona by a combined score of 41-18, and has defeated the D-backs 22 times since the beginning of 2014 overall (22-6 record). The Dodgers have hit 65 home runs against Arizona since the beginning of 2013 -- most of any NL team vs. any opponent during that span.

Mike Bolsinger lasted a season-low 4.2 innings (2 ER allowed) last Wednesday against the Cubs, garnering the third no-decision in his last five outings in the process. Bolsinger (7.0 IP, 2 ER) won his only career start against the D-backs exactly three weeks ago on June 8.

Allen Webster allowed five runs (three earned) in 4.1 innings last Wednesday in Colorado, and got a no-decision when the D-backs bailed him out with three ninth-inning runs and beat the Rockies. Tonight marks Webster's first career appearance vs. the Dodgers.

Adrian Gonzalez went 6-for-13 over the weekend in Miami, and is now batting .414 in his last eight contests overall. Gonzalez is 10-for-21 (.476) during his current six-game hitting streak vs. the D-backs at Chase Field.

Brett Anderson feels he's executing certain pitches as well as he has over his first few months in Los Angeles, resulting in his most promising stretch with the club.
The ultimate test of that progress might be coming Wednesday night in Arizona in the form of Paul Goldschmidt, the Diamondbacks slugger who has accounted for a third of the home runs the Dodgers left-hander has given up this season.
