<p>OAKLAND, Calif. (AP)  Billy Butler hit his first triple in nearly three years and also singled, Jesse Hahn pitched six solid innings and the Oakland Athletics beat the Colorado Rockies 4-1 on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Hahn (6-6) improved to 4-1 over his last six starts after giving up one run on four hits. He walked two and struck out six.</p>
<p>Tyler Clippard retired the final four hitters for his 14th save.</p>

<p>Butler, Josh Reddick, Mark Canha and Eric Sogard drove in runs as the A's won the series. Billy Burns added two hits and scored twice.</p>

The Rockies dropped a 6-3 decision to the Giants at AT&T Park on Sunday, losing their second straight contest, and falling to 2-7 in the last nine road games overall. Colorado has allowed six or more runs 30 times in 2015 -- second most of any MLB club (Arizona -- 32).

Oakland lost, 5-3, to the Royals yesterday, getting swept in a three-game home series for the third time this season. The A's are just 14-23 (.378) at O.co Coliseum in 2015 -- the second worst home mark of any team in the majors (Milwaukee -- 15-26, .366).

The A's swept three from the Rockies the last time these clubs met in 2012 (at Coors Field). Dating to 1999, one team or the other has recorded a three-game sweep in each of the last three series matchups at O.co Coliseum (A's swept three in 1999 and 2001, Rockies swept three in 2009).

David Hale allowed five runs (all earned) in 4.2 innings last Wednesday against the D-backs, and including that no-decision, is 0-2 with an 8.04 ERA in his last three outings overall. Tonight will be Hale's first career start against the A's.

Kendall Graveman (7.0 IP, 2 ER) won his second outing of the month last Wednesday against the Rangers in Texas, posting his fifth consecutive quality start in the victory (one QS in first six starts of 2015). Tonight marks Graveman's first career appearance vs. the Rockies.

Billy Burns went 2-for-5 on Sunday, and is now batting .365 (27-for-74) during his current 16-game hitting streak -- the longest active streak in the majors. Burns needs a hit today to tie three others for the Oakland A's record for longest all-time hit streaks by a rookie (also Michael Edwards -- 1978, Luis Polonia -- 1987 and Terrence Long -- 2000).

Nolan Arenado crushed two homers yesterday in San Francisco, giving him eight bombs in his last seven games, and at least one hit in 15 consecutive contests overall (second longest active hit streak in MLB).
