San Francisco has won each of its three meetings with the Dodgers so far in 2015, however, the last two matchups between the clubs have been decided by just one run. The Giants have lost each of their last two road games against the Dodgers.

The Dodgers have won seven consecutive home games, while scoring at least five runs in each of those contests. The Dodgers will be looking to win eight in a row at home in a single season for the first time since opening the 2009 campaign with 13 straight victories.

After opening the season with just four victories in their first 14 games, the Giants have now won four of their last five contests.

In his first start against the Dodgers this season, Tim Lincecum allowed just one run in six innings of work in the 6-2 victory. Lincecum has won three of his last four road starts against the Dodgers.

Brett Anderson will be facing San Francisco for a second consecutive game after allowing four runs and nine hits in four innings of last Tuesday's loss against them. Anderson is winless (0-3) with a 6.19 ERA in four career starts against the Giants.

Justin Maxwell is hitting .350 (7-for-20) with three homers, one triple and seven RBI in his last five games. Maxwell has homered in each of his last two games and will be looking to do so in three consecutive contests for the first time in his career.
