Mesa, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Brett Lawrie smacked a pair of homers as the Oakland Athletics defeated the Colorado Rockies 11-2 in spring training action.

Lawrie cracked a three-run shot and a solo blast. Ben Zobrist added two hits, three RBI and two runs scored for Oakland, which got six shutout innings and six strikeouts from starter Drew Pomeranz.

Wilin Rosario belted a double a scored a run for the Rockies. Starter Eddie Butler allowed a run in his lone inning of work.
