Flushing, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Jacob deGrom fired seven shutout innings, Wilmer Flores smacked a two-run homer and the New York Mets won their seventh straight game following a 5-4 victory over the Miami Marlins in the third of a four-game set.

It's the Mets' longest winning streak since they won eight in a row in June of 2010.

DeGrom (2-1) struck out eight and scattered six hits for the Mets. Travis d'Arnaud cracked a solo shot and Eric Campbell posted two hits, two runs scored and an RBI in the triumph.

Mat Latos (0-3) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk over five frames for the Marlins, who have dropped six of their last eight games.

Dee Gordon went 5-for-5 with three RBI and Michael Morse hit a solo shot in defeat.

The Mets plated a run in the second and third innings, then added three more to break the game open in the sixth.

Campbell hit a one-out single in the second, stole second and came home on Juan Lagares' base hit to center. D'Arnaud belted his solo shot with one out in the third.

Michael Cuddyer doubled to lead off the sixth and scored on Campbell's single to right two batters later. Flores' two-run blast came with two outs, cracking a 1-0 fastball over the wall in left for a 5-0 margin.

Gordon hit a run-scoring double in the eighth and Morse's blast in the ninth made it 5-2. Gordon lined a two-out, two-run single later in the ninth, but Alex Torres struck out Christian Yelich to end the game and record his first save of the season.
