Goodyear, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Yordano Ventura allowed four runs in one inning, but the Kansas City Royals came back to top the Cleveland Indians 11-9 on Friday.

The Royals scored eight runs in a fifth inning that was prolonged by Zach Walters' throwing error. Brett Eibner later hit a three-run home run.

Alex Rios, acquired by the Royals through free agency, had three hits including a solo home run in the first inning.

Indians starter Danny Salazar struck out four in two innings but allowed two runs.
