MLB Game Summary - St. Louis at Miami

Jupiter, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Matt Adams drove in a pair of runs to lead the St. Louis Cardinals over the Miami Marlins, 4-1, in Grapefruit League action on Thursday.

Adams finished 1-for-2, knocking home both runs with a first-inning single off Miami starter Dan Haren. Jason Heyward and Matt Holliday also had a hit apiece for the Cardinals.

Carlos Martinez started for St. Louis and struck out three in two perfect innings.

Jhonathan Solano drove in the lone run for the Marlins.

Haren was charged with two runs on three hits, striking out one, over two innings.
