American League Game Summary - Toronto at Baltimore

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Matt Wieters homered and knocked in two runs to back a solid seven-inning outing from Miguel Gonzalez, as the Baltimore Orioles edged the Toronto Blue Jays 3-2 in the rubber match of a three-game series at Camden Yards.

Gonzalez (11-8) limited the Jays to two hits, walked one and struck out five before exiting with a 3-1 lead.

Baltimore reliever Tommy Hunter struggled in the eighth, allowing hits to three of the first four batters. Toronto trimmed its deficit on Brett Lawrie's RBI double, but wound up stranding two men in scoring position as Hunter preserved the advantage by striking out both Moises Sierra and Anthony Gose.

Closer Jim Johnson then pitched around a two-out single in the ninth to record his 48th save.

Blue Jays starter Mark Buehrle (12-10) left with one out in the fourth inning after sustaining a right calf contusion when he was struck by a Steve Pearce comebacker. Buehrle allowed three runs and eight hits over the first three frames.
