Report: Griezmann, Diarra included in France squad for England friendly

Atletico Madrid winger Antoine Griezmann, and Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra, will both take part in France's upcoming friendly against England just days after being personally affected by the Paris terror attacks, reports Sky Sports.

Sky Sports further reports that all 23 French players who were involved in the match on Friday have accepted call-ups for Tuesday's encounter at Wembley Stadium.

The French squad heard explosions outside the Stade de France during Friday's friendly match against Germany, but played the match through.

In the aftermath of the attacks, Griezmann announced his sister was at the Bataclan Theatre but managed to escape safely. Unfortunately, Diarra revealed that his cousin was one of the victims of the attacks.

Tuesday's friendly will mark an important step in France's recovery process from the tragedy, and the match has been billed by both the English and French football federations as a symbol of solidarity between the two countries.
