Barcelona's Luis Enrique 'completely convinced' of turnaround against Bilbao

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is "completely convinced" his side can turn around a four-goal deficit to claim the Supercopa de Espana in the second leg against Athletic Bilbao.

Barcelona need to score five unanswered goals against Bilbao to claim the title after the Basque outfit laid waste to the 2014-15 La Liga champions in the first leg, defeating Barcelona 4-0.

But with home support behind them at the Nou Camp, Enrique said he believes his team can still fight back to win the preseason trophy.

"This team is up to a challenge of this magnitude," Enrique told reporters Sunday. "If we play like we did last season then we have a chance. I have looked at the statistics and we had 18 games when we scored four or more goals. We have the talent, we are going to be in better shape and, when Barca plays, anything can happen.

"We cannot make mistakes," he added. "We are capable of scoring four or more goals, but we cannot let them score."

That will be easier said than done for Enrique, though, as his side continues to work towards full match fitness. With Neymar dealing with mumps, one-third of Barcelona's fearsome attacking trio will be unavailable. Starting left full-back Jordi Alba is also dealing with injury, leaving Enrique slightly short-handed.

But, the Barcelona manager explained his players know the job they have to do and they'll work with a clear plan to score the five goals needed to come out on top.

"During training on Saturday we analyzed what happened and why," he said. "We used real situations from last season and we saw how our players' and coaches' faces changed.

"Now we have to change the faces of our fans."
