Frank de Boer's agent says client would 'love' to join Everton, Valencia

Frank de Boer, Ajax's manager and the first coach to win three Eredivisie titles in a row as both a player and coach, would be tempted by offers elsewhere.

On Sunday, the same day that Ajax surrendered the Eredivisie title to PSV Eindhoven by drawing already-relegated De Graafschap, De Boer's agent, Guido Albers, acknowledged that clubs like Everton and Valencia are places that his client would "love" to work.

Everton's board of directors reportedly held a meeting at the end of April in which the future of Roberto Martinez, on the brink of being sacked, was discussed. Over at Valencia, meanwhile, Pako Ayestaran was appointed as Gary Neville's replacement in Febuary, but his contract expires at the end of the La Liga season.

"He would love to join a club like Everton or Valencia," Albers said, according to Kristian Walsh of the Liverpool Echo. "It's all about the right philosophy and how they play football. That is what Frank is looking for."

After Ajax conceded the title to PSV, De Boer didn't hold back his sadness, referring to the collapse as a "nightmare."

De Boer's contract with Ajax expires in 2017.
