Chelsea easily gets past Burnley

Eden Hazard, Willian and Victor Moses scored for Chelsea as they easily brushed aside a tame Burnley side at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon to maintain their perfect record.

Hazard capitalized on a turnover in possession to drive forward into the Burnley half and finish emphatically into the bottom corner from 20 yards to give his side the lead. He then had an effort cleared off the line minutes later.

Willian doubled Chelsea's lead with a powerful strike from the angle while Diego Costa squandered a couple of chances as Chelsea (3-0-0) went in two goals up at the break.

Tom Heaton made a number of fine saves for Burley (1-0-2), particularly from Costa as the score somehow remained 2-0 in the second 45 minutes while John Terry missed an open goal from a rebound four yards out.

However, the hosts did get a deserved third in injury time as late substitutions from Antonio Conte once again contributed to a goal.

Mitchy Batshuayi found Pedro breaking forward on the counter and the Spaniard delivered a great cross for Moses to tap home.

A thoroughly satisfying afternoon's work for the Blues once more, but Sean Dyche's men have some serious work to do for the season ahead if this display was anything to go by.
