<p>Ryan Shawcross was sent off in the 47th minute for a second yellow card and the Black Cats finally took advantage through Patrick van Aanholt's 25-yard shot in the 82nd.</p>
<p>Two minutes later, Duncan Watmore added a second. He broke free down the right and drilled a low shot inside the far post.</p>
