Everton beats Swansea 3-2 in Premier League

LIVERPOOL, England (AP) Everton kept up the pace in a race for a European berth following a 3-2 home win over Swansea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Leighton Baines gave the Toffees the lead in the 20th minute from the penalty spot after Chico Flores was alleged to have felled Ross Barkley.

The visitors equalized in the 33rd when striker Wilfried Bony tapped home from close range.

Romelu Lukaku restored Everton's lead in the 53rd, after a neat one-two with Kevin Mirallas saw the latter cross for the striker to convert.

Midfielder Ross Barkley headed home the third after Lukaku flicked a corner into his path. Defender Ashley Williams scored a late consolation in the last minute.
