Stoke wins 4-1 at Aston Villa in Premier League

LONDON (AP) Stoke came from behind to secure its first Premier League away win since August in style, beating Aston Villa 4-1 Sunday.

Villa, which beat leader Chelsea last weekend, went in front after just five minutes through Christian Benteke.

But Peter Odemwingie scored his third goal in two games to equalize in the 22nd minute and Peter Crouch seized on slack marking to put Stoke ahead four minutes later.

When Leandro Bacuna and Nathan Baker both failed to clear the ball just before half time, Steven Nzonzi took advantage to score from inside the box.

Geoff Cameron rounded off the rout in the 90th with his second goal of the season as Villa's defense was stretched on the counterattack.

Stoke leapfrogged Villa into 10th place.
