Alexis Sanchez wins Golden Ball award at Copa America Centenario
Alexis Sanchez's performances didn't go unnoticed.
On Sunday, after Chile defeated Argentina on penalty kicks to win the Copa America Centenario, Sanchez collected the Golden Ball Award, which is given to the tournament's top player.

Through 584 minutes at the Copa America Centenario, Sanchez tallied three goals and one assist. Two of the goals came in Chile's victory over Panama, which was a fixture in which La Roja needed at least one point to avoid being eliminated in the group stage.
Sanchez took to Instagram after winning the award, publishing a picture of himself holding two trophies and writing: "I don't have words. I only thank my teammates and all the people who supported us ... Now Chileans, let's enjoy it."
