Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery will travel to Borussia Monchengladbach
Franck Ribery is packing his bags.
On Friday, Bayern Munich announced that the French winger, sidelined since March due to a chronic ankle problem, will join the club's squad for its fixture at Borussia Monchengladbach.
It was a surprise even for Franck #Ribéry when he found that he's travelling with the squad to Gladbach ;) https://t.co/SIvTDKytge

Ribery suffered the ankle injury on March 11, when Bayern hosted Shakhtar Donetsk in the Round of 16 of the 2014-15 Champions League. He returned to team training on Tuesday, after which he told his club's station: "It's been the first injury that's kept me out for so long, it was tough. But that's football, that's life. It's important to keep your head up and work hard. Now I'm back with the team, it's a good feeling. Everyone was pleased for me."

David Alaba, Douglas Costa, and Arjen Robben are all out for Saturday's clash at Monchengladbach, meaning Ribery could very well take the pitch.
