Bayern says injury suffered by Thiago Alcantara vs. Dortmund 'not serious'
Bayern Munich could desperately use some good news following the disastrous events of Tuesday's German Cup semifinal against Borussia Dortmund.
Not only did the Bavarian side lose on penalties, they lost Arjen Robben for the remainder of the season to a torn calf, and saw Robert Lewandowski sustain a broken jaw and nose, in addition to a concussion.
Well, at least Thiago is doing alright.
The Spaniard was forced to leave Tuesday's match in the 68th minute with an undisclosed problem, but he quickly reassured everyone that the ailment responsible for his substitution is not serious.
The club also reassured supporters that the diminutive midfielder is just fine, noting in a statement that he "only suffered slight bruising."
Small victories. Take them when you can.
