The first half of Bayern Munich's clash versus Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday finished scoreless, but Roger Schmidt's side would have taken the lead only three minutes into the match had it not been for left-back Juan Bernat.
After breaking through Bayern's backline, Karim Bellarabi was able to chip a shot past Manuel Neuer. However, just as the ball was about to cross the goal line, Bernat came to his club's rescue with a last-ditch clearance that denied Leverkusen of an early lead.
